The popularity of all natural skin care products is growing rapidly. Why is that? Well, there are several reasons behind this phenomenon, but the real driving force behind it is the fact that natural products are now more effective than those produced in a lab somewhere.
Think about it for a minute. Throughout history, it has been natural products that have kept the human body healthy. However, somewhere along the line someone decided science could develop more effective substances than those found in nature. This has led to a minimizing of the power found in natural foods and other substances.
The truth has always remained though, that our body needs nutrition to work at its peak. For instance, It wasn't until the 1980s that it came to light that broccoli contained substances that fight cancer. Well the same holds true for all natural skin care products.
Let's take a look at some of the natural substances that make these skin creams so effective.
Effective all natural skin care products will contain plant sourced moisturizers like avocado oil, shea butter, and jojoba oil. All of these are similar in make up to the natural oils that are produced by the human skin. Yet each one contains into own list of nutrients that nourish the skin while moisturizing.
Avocado oil, for instance contains vitamins, minerals, and omega 3 fatty acids. It has even been recently discovered to support the production of increased collagen in the skin.
Jojoba oil softens the skin, helping reduce stretch marks, scars and wrinkles. At the same time it helps balance out the skin's production of natural oils.
Shea butter is rich in vitamin A and E which give it the ability to heal inflamed skin and blemishes as well as fade age spots.
Compare the properties of these natural moisturizers with one of the most common moisturizing agents in the typical skin cream, mineral oil. Mineral oil clogs the pores keeping the skin from breathing and leading to blemishes and other infections in the skin.
Which would you rather use? This is just a sampling of some of the ingredients you will find in all natural skin care products. You get the idea, don't you?
