Do Skin Bleaching Products Combat Hyper-Pigmentation Problems Safely?

Many times we are not able to realize why we have so many dark patches. Actually these are caused due to pigmentation in the skin. This is a natural process that the body goes through. But sometimes, it exceeds its limits and becomes hyper pigmentation. This means darkening of some parts in the skin and the nails. This is mainly caused due to increased melanin.

Some of the key reasons of this issue are as follows:

· Sun damage
· Some skin injury
· Inflammation
· Acne vulgaris, etc.

Some medical experts relate it to some chronic ailments. These include the following:

· Diabetes
· Higher cholesterol levels
· High blood pressure
· Arthritis, etc.

Here are some cures to hyper pigmentation:

* Turmeric Bleaching Lotions

· Skin bleaching lotions are quite helpful in combating this issue. But you must use them carefully strictly following the instructions given on the product.
· Also make sure that you do a patch test first and then switch on to using it.
· Next, you must not use it in case there is some redness or acne or any other problem in that area.
· The key lies in choosing the right product. For this you must read the ingredients carefully. Then check with your physician if all the ingredients are suited for you and you are not allergic to any of them.
· Hydroquinone is a chemical that is commonly used in the skin whitening products. This is effective but if used in a higher amount, it can be really harmful as well. So, in case you have very sensitive membrane, avoid the products that have hydroquinone.

* Home Remedies

· Wash the affected area with soap and scrub it gently with a pumice stone.
· Rub a piece of lemon on it.
· Apply sun tan lotion when you go out under the sun, especially in the afternoons.
· Wash the affected area with a paste of lemon juice and turmeric powder.
· In summers prefer wearing pure cotton in place of the synthetics.
· Wax regularly. This removes the dead cells & tanning and helps in maintaining the congenial hygiene.
· Regularly use skin whitening creams like Meladerm. This is natural; it has no side effects; and it shows up results in 2 weeks only.

* Laser Treatments

Here are innumerable laser therapies that remove the dark patches from the membrane. These are really expensive ones they need a lot of care and also they have their own pros & cons. So before choosing them, you must talk to your doctor. In this should be your last priority. In stead of them, skin bleaching lotions and home remedies are far better.
