Vitamin B Complex can help the skin because the most important B vitamin biotin can help form the basis for skin, hair, and nail cells. If people do not get enough of this nutrient they may develop dermatitis which is an itchy, scaly skin reaction. This nutrient can be found in foods such as: bananas, eggs, oatmeal, and rice and the body makes some of this nutrient on its own as well. Creams containing Vitamin B Complexes can help improve skin tone, hydrate the skin and give it a glow. Other B Vitamins such as Niacin can help to soothe dry, irritated skin.

Copper can help the skin by working with Vitamin C and zinc to help develop elastin that fibers that help support skin structure from the inside. Zinc is a mineral that can help with acne. Zinc helps to clear the skin by taming oil production and may help control the formation of acne lesions or help the ones on the skin to clear up sooner. It is important for everyone to eat a balanced diet and to exercise regularly not only to help our minds, hearts and other organs but to help our skin stay healthy as well. Our skin not only helps us look and feel good, but it can help protect us from infections and other problems and concerns. Protecting our skin will help us to not only look and feel good but help us to stay healthy now and in the future.
